After discovering the Fender '52 Hot Rod Telecaster several years ago, I went on a hunt to identify the bridge pickup, known only as the "Custom Vintage Style Single-Coil Tele® Pickup". I found a French web site, FretDreamer.fr, that had photos of several Telecaster pickups, and used it to identify a bunch of parts in my storage drawer. Though it appears that the Hot Rod's bridge pickup was made solely for this guitar, I'll leave this link for you to go down the rabbit hole if you so choose.

The owner of FretDreamer retired, and took down a few of his pages, but I re-created his Telecaster pickup identification page after locating the web archive of that site. I fet it important to put this up in the event someone out there is still trying to figure out what they have, and need their own time to stumble upon a random site for help. If you're reading this, glad you found it.

I relied on "gugl" to translate the site from French to English; I made some edits to be able to speak in the vernacular.

Note: DC Resistance is measures in KΩ (Ω = Ohms)

THIS ENTRY IS BEST VIEWED ON A DESKTOP/LAPTOP - IT LOOKS HORRID ON A PHONE.
